On Thursday, March 7, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 match between playoff contenders Islamabad United and Karachi Kings will take aim at victory.

Shan Masood-led Karachi Kings enters the game fresh off a 7-wicket victory over Quetta Gladiators, while Shadab Khan's Islamabad United is coming off a 17-run loss to Lahore Qalandars. On Wednesday, March 6, both matches were played at the same location in Rawalpindi.

The next PSL match between the two teams will take place in less than a day. The Islamabad United team will be confident going into the game despite coming off a loss because they defeated the Kings in the rematch.

When the two teams faced off in the PSL last, on February 28, at the National Stadium in Karachi, Islamabad United defeated 166 with 9 balls and 7 wickets remaining thanks to Colin Munro's 82 off 47 balls.
