Prior to the Bangladesh Test series, PCB will name Wahab Riaz's replacement.

Wahab Riaz was fired as team manager by the board, which was led by Mohsin Naqvi. Wahab Riaz's replacement can be announced by PCB prior to the Bangladesh series.

The Pakistan cricket team is preparing to take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. On August 21, the two teams will begin their series.

The World Test Championship will continue as is with this home series. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board is about to undergo a significant transformation.

The former pacer Wahab Riaz, who was serving as the team manager, has been replaced, as PCB can announce. According to numerous reports, PCB has the ability to appoint Naveed Akram Cheema as the new manager of the Pakistan cricket team. Responsibility should only be granted to individuals who can concentrate on performance and discipline, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Wahab Riaz was ousted from this position by the Mohsin Naqvi-led board in July. He was employed by the team as a senior team manager and selector. However, the team's performance was a total bust while he was in charge. There are now numerous allegations claiming that the team lacks discipline. Moreover, disputes involving Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam surfaced. There was talk of internal grouping within the team as a result of the disagreement between the two.

Speaking about Cheema, he has also previously managed the team. Throughout the trip of Australia and New Zealand, he assumed this duty. The excursions were conducted in January 2024 and December 2023. Following this trip, Wahab Riaz took over as the team's senior manager, replacing him with Mansoor Rana.

For their two-match test series against Pakistan, the Bangladeshi team has already arrived. There were rumors that the coup in Bangladesh might force this tour to be canceled, but everything went down without a hitch. This tour will now proceed as scheduled. The Pakistani cricket squad hasn't played well in a few months. In the ODI World Cup, the team was unable to go to the semifinals. The team advanced past the group stage for the first time in the T20 World Cup as well.

However, Iftikhar Ahmed's cameo of an unbeaten 32 off 20 balls lifted the Sultans to 159, a score that they felt they had just about enough manpower to ...
