Match No 16 PSL 2024 KKvsQG

When Karachi Kings play Quetta Gladiators in match 16 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 on Thursday (February 29) at the National Stadium in Karachi, they will be looking to bounce back from their home campaign's first game setback.

The Quetta Gladiators, coached by Rilee Rossouw, are coming off their first loss of the season, while the Shan Masood-led Karachi Kings are coming off of their second loss of the year.

After winning their next two games after losing their first, Karachi Kings experienced another setback Friday night as they were unable to hold off Islamabad United, scoring 165 runs. While Kieron Pollard struck an undefeated 48 off just 28 balls, the rest of the team—including the bowling department—failed to deliver.

On the other side, in their most recent match against Multan Sultans, who are now atop the table, Quetta Gladiators came within 13 runs of chasing down 181 thanks to a cameo from captain Rossouw, but ultimately fell short of the mark.

When the Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators square off for the 17th time in the HBL PSL and the 7th time at the National Stadium, both teams will be looking to snap their one-match losing streak.
